PC040 / TANDBERG [TV (chassis)]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for PC040 / TANDBERG.

List of fault symptoms:
  • Switches to protection mode (after warm-up).
  • After some delay time picture content bounces to the right and to the left approx..1-2 cm.
  • Stuck in standby.
  • Burning smell.
  • Brightness increases with flyback lines at switch on. Then appliance goes to standby.
  • No sound via SCART and from loudspeaker. OK with input signal on SCART.
  • Line output transistor fails repeatedly. after a few seconds.

  • After working for 4-5 hrs appliance switches off and display starts flashing.
  • No contrast control. No contrast.
  • Fuse blows after 10-15 secs.
  • Only vertical white line in the middle.
  • No picture. Audio OK .
  • Poor picture.
  • White screen. Flyback lines.
  • White screen. Flyback lines. Shuts down. after a while.
