CTW2850S1 / TEAC [TV 16:9 70 (66) cm picture]

List of fault symptoms:
- Line output transistor S/C at start-up.
- Low HT intermittently, followed by tripping.
- Brightness varies. No RC functions. intermittently. Shuts down. intermittently.
- Horizontal output transistor fails repeatedly.
- Beeps shortly at start-up, then no function. LED dead.
- Pincushion distortion. Excessive horizontal size.
- Vertical jitter.
- Coloured lines when changing channels. Incorrect geometry.
- PSU whistles at switch on. No other functions.
- Ticking noise. LED blinks .
- No vertical synchronisation.
- Enter service mode.
- Tripping.
- Wite bright lines on upper picture edge.
- No picture. Black screen.
- Q602 fails repeatedly.
- No start-up (when cold).
- PSU blow-up.
- PSU tripping loudly.
- Dead. intermittently.
- L601 overheats.
- No picture. No audio.
- Excessive horizontal size. E/W fault.
- Switches to standby. No picture.
- No vertical deflection.
- No picture or just a vertical line.
- Switches to standby (after start-up).
- No start-up. Red LED blinks.
- Q100 and Q102 fail repeatedly.
- No start-up. Standby LED is red. Green light shows briefly then switches to standby when switching.
- Switches to standby.
- Dead.
- Standby PSU is defective.
- Transistor BU2508AF fails after 1 min.
- Reduced horizontal size (at start-up). Excessive horizontal size (after warm-up).
- Electrolytic capacitor C116 becomes hot and defective.
- Comes out of standby with green LED on and after 5 secs switches to standby with red LED on.
- Shuts down. (CTW2850S1 tip from TEAC)
- Switches to standby after start-up. EHT rustle.
- Tripping. LED blinks .
- E/W fault.
- Horizontal roll.
- Frame output IC600 fails repeatedly.
- Switches intermittently to standby. Ok in test mode.
- No start-up.
- No RC functions.
- Interference in picture.
- No start up. PSU ticks. LED switches every second. Switches on and off.
- Stuck in standby. LED blinks .
- Trips. Standby LED does not light.
- No start-up from standby.
- Intermittent start-up. Ticking noise in standby. LED is green then red.
- No vertical deflection (intermittently).
- Noise from SMPS while in standby.
- No horizontal synchronisation.
- LED is green for a short time and then switches off.
- Reduced vertical size.
- Shuts down. after start-up.
- Switches to protection mode.
- Tripping. after start-up. Red LED blinks.
- PSU ticking.
- No picture. Audio OK .
- No functions. (CTW2850S1 tips)
- Flyback lines. Coloured lines. at top.
- Poor picture. Low brightness. Low contrast.
- Distorted E/W. Low height. Picture has shifted downwards.
