CT2000 / TECHLINE [TV (Standard)]
The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers
supplies the following faults for CT2000 / TECHLINE.
List of fault symptoms:
- Dead. PSU beeps.
- H end stage transistor fails at irregular distances without recognisable cause.
- Videotext jitters.
- Black bar. at top and bottom.
- Picture size is horizontally reduced with 6-8cm. Picture geometry OK.
- At 4:3 PB picture collapses to 16:9 format. (TECHLINE - CT2000 information)
- Reduced horizontal size. on the right.
- No red.
- Very loud buzzing from scan coils. Picture OK. Buzzing noise disappears after a while.
- Switches to protection mode. after a few seconds.
- No picture. on upper half screen.
- Distorted picture. at top. (CT2000 tips)
- Flyback transformer and line output stage is defective.
- No vertical deflection.
- Vertical deflection only approx. 10cm, apart on the top.
- Picture splutters when changing channels after some operating time.
- Reduced vertical deflection.
- No start-up from standby.
- Line output transistor S2055 S/C.
- PSU pulsates.
- Horizontal stripe. via SCART.
- Text lines at top of scan.
- No start-up. LED blinks .
- Appliance snaps.
- Stretched picture. Picture size varies with picture content.
- No HV. (TECHLINE - CT2000 information)
- Three coloured stripes on upper picture edge.
- Shuts down.
- Picture is narrow and horizontally folded over.
- No E/W correction.
- The appliance is dead, BU426 nad BU500 are short circuit, TDA4600 U/S-22nF is leaky.
- No functions.
- Smoke from CRT board.
- Picture shakes. at bottom (after warm-up).
- No HV. after a while.
- One colour missing.
- No picture content, menu too pale , maybe E/W distortion. (CT2000 tip from TECHLINE)
- Dark screen. Audio OK .
- Centering shifted.
- Shuts down (after start-up).
- No start-up. PSU pulsates.
- Distorted picture. No TXT.
- Vertical IC fails.
- No picture. Picture fragments are visible for a short time, then bright screen.
- No HV. after start-up. Audio OK .
- PSU switches on, HV builds up, then switches off.
- Bright picture.
- Line driver transistor Q302 is destroyed after seconds
- Enter service mode.
- OSD jitters. Picture is OK. Vertical shifted.
- After locating a page, the upper line appears, the rest remains dark but after approx 3 mins. text is complete.
- Horizontal stripe.
- E/W fault.
- Humming noise from transformer. when cold.
- Tripping.
- Weak vertical stripe in picture.
- White screen. Flyback lines. Shuts down. after a few seconds.
- Deflection transformer fails.
- Standby LED flashes shortly after start-up, then slight chirping noise from PSU and dead. (CT2000 tip from TECHLINE)
- Field collapse. Intermittently horizontal line appears with three colours flickering.
- R325 reeks.
- Three coloured lines in the half of the picture. (CT2000 tips)
- Switches off. Standby LED flashes and starts automatically with program site 1.
- No OSD. No TXT.
- No function, LED does not light.
- Line output transistor arching.
- Switches to standby. after a few seconds.
- No line drive.
- Comes on for a short time.
- Vertical lines.
- Reduced vertical size at bottom. when cold. (TECHLINE - CT2000 information)
- No sound via scart or noise or sound of a terrestrial channel.
- Flyback lines. at top.
- Picture flashed red, then no picture. Sound OK.
- Pincushion distortion.
- No HV. Audio OK .
- Reduced horizontal size.
- Vertical foldover at bottom.
- Dead. LED blinks .
- Torn picture (horizontally).
- No picture. Audio OK .
- No RC functions.
- TXT appears instead of TV picture after switch on.
- SMD diode D302 defective.
- Picture without content with rainbow colours.
- Goes deat with a bang.
- Disable child lock. (CT2000 TECHLINE repair tip)
- Vertical collapse.
- Line tearing after approx. 5-10 min. Multiple pictures.
- Line output transistor fails repeatedly.
- Stuck in BG standard.
- Appliance does not switch over. Only AV2 is operating. Picture and sound are OK.
- No picture. (service info for TECHLINE -CT2000)
- Excessive horizontal size. E/W fault.
- Line tearing. after warm-up.
- No functions. LED blinks briefly after switch on, then goes off. (CT2000 tip from TECHLINE)
- Mains fuse blown.
- Switches to standby.
- Vertical bright stripe in picture, visible especially on dark pictures.
- Green flyback lines.
- Vertical collapse. after a while.
- T309 (BC618) defective. (CT2000 tip from TECHLINE)
- No vertical deflection, only diffuse brightness and flyback lines.
- Line output transformer arcing.
- Start-up with green picture, red and blue colours are weak, audio OK.
- Dead.
- No picture. No audio.
- No picture. Retrace lines.
- Green LED blinks at switch on Prog. +/-. Power supply pulsates.
