W36K / WINDSOR [TV 36/37 (34-36) cm picture]

supplies the following faults for W36K / WINDSOR.
List of fault symptoms:
- Tripping.
- No start-up from standby. LED is red . No line drive.
- Dark picture.
- No start-up. LED is red .
- No function via 12/24V power supply.
- Dead.
- Switches to protection mode.
- Enter service mode.
- Black vertical bar. on the left.
- No functions.
- Line output transistor faulty.
- Strong continuous chirp from mains transformer with normal operation. Horizontal interference lines (pinch).

- 8V missing.

- Squealing noise. at start-up.
- Picture is instable, horizontal lines from the top to the bottom.
- PSU pulsates quickly at switch on.
- No picture. Audio OK .
- Chassis type.
- Key-LED lights green for a short time, then becomes red.
- 2-3 cm horizontal stripe in the middle of screen.

- HV output stage (BU808DFI) defective.
- Dead (intermittently). (W36K WINDSOR repair tip)
- Blue screen. Flyback lines.
- Does not start up. Standby LED is present at switch-on. LED becomes green for one sec., then it switches off.
- Slow start-up.
- Vertical lines. Unstable picture.
- Intermittently switches off and goes to standby. If switched on again, a digit key has to be pressed on RC.
- Horizontal line.
- Dark stripes in picture after a few minutes. Growing thicker and distorting the picture.
- BU808DFI fails every so often.
- No HV.
- TV does not switch on. Standby LED flickers.
- Stuck in standby.
- Picture folds down at the bottom. Linearity and vertical position cannot be adjusted.
- No colour.
- Vertical deflection reduced to 2-4 cm.
- Unstable picture.
- R809 and R821 smoking after a few minutes. (W36K tip from WINDSOR)
- No horizontal or vertical deflection. (WINDSOR - W36K information)
